Tide the Merboy - Colour

Tide is my original character from a text based roleplay. He's an aspiring healer, and a mildmannered boy, though he can be assertive when the situation calls for it. He's also a good friend of my other merboy, Reef.

ElfQuest/WaveDancers inspiration in here. Ended up completely redoing his tail fin, which was very different in my original sketch. I am fairly pleased with the overall result, and it's not often I manage to draw something I am proud of. It paid off to do the lineart using my light table rather than just the lazy way of colouring a photo copy of the sketch (thank you printer for refusing to cooperate!)
